Ultegra Di2 RD-R8050-GS Rear Derailleur - Medium

The middle classes Primus under the switching groups in a new guise! The black and anthracite R8000 component group not only enhances the look of your bike with its striking, coordinated design, but also makes the Ultegra a big step forward technically. This is ensured by the technologies adopted in part by the Dura Ace 9100.

The electronic Ultegra Di2 R8050 rear derailleur ensures a high switching stability even under the toughest conditions. When operating the shifter, the chain changes the pinion without the use of force. Even under medium and high loads, the gear changes take place without much noise. Thanks to the compact shadow design, the rear derailleur sits closer to the frame. This slim, low-profile design not only looks good, but also protects the rear derailleur from damage in the event of a fall.

With the Shimano Syncro Shift and Semi Syncro Shift function, the Ultegra Di2 even allows semi-automatic shifting. With Syncro Shift, the front derailleur shifts automatically as soon as the rear derailleur has been activated to shift into the next matching gear from the combination of chainrings and cassette. Semi-syncro shift works the other way round: When shifting the derailleur, the rear derailleur automatically switches to the next suitable gear.

The development of two special rear derailleurs (GS and SS) covers a wide range of translations. While the SS rear derailleur was built for cassettes of 11-25 to 11-30 teeth, the GS rear derailleur is designed for cassettes of 11-28 to 11-34 teeth.
